Looking to tour in June (bugs in the Laurentians)

Hello Mike,

Based on what you are looking for, I would agree that the “P'tit train du Nord” trail in the Laurentians would be ideal. I have cycled this trail at different times in July, August, and September, and did not experienced any serious problems with bugs. But I have never been there at the beginning of June, so I can’t say what conditions would be like during this period.

Maybe someone else could give a first hand account of what you could expect in the  Laurentians in early June.

I do plan to post some articles about cycling in and around Quebec City on the web site sometime  next month (once I  finish them). However, these will mainly be about day trips.
