The state of affairs with cycling in the US
 
 
Below is a link for an interesting article on what’s happening with efforts to promote cycling in the US. It’s both bad news and good news.

Recently,  there have been a number political moves to eliminate federal funding for cycling projects and initiatives (thus far unsuccessfully). The article also highlights how more and more Americans are taking to their bikes for transportation. It cites wintery Minneapolis as an example, a place which starting to be recognized as the number one bicycle city in the States.
