Posted by Michael McGoldrick, Tue Nov 8 2011 at 10:04 pm Utterly mind boggling - McGill in Maclean’s top 5 cycling universities I was astounded to see that the list included Montreal’s McGill University. Maybe Maclean’s should do more research. A little over a year ago, McGill University banned cycling throughout its downtown campus. That’s right - while many institutions of higher learning are encouraging use of bicycles, McGill is one of the few (perhaps the only one in North America) to ban cycling. All this in the heart of bicycle friendly Montreal.
