Utterly mind boggling - McGill in Maclean’s top 5 cycling universities
As part of Maclean’s Magazine’s raking of universities, it recently released a list of Canada’s top five cycling universities.
I was astounded to see that the list included Montreal’s McGill University. Maybe Maclean’s should do more research. A little over a year ago, McGill University banned cycling throughout its downtown campus.
That’s right - while many institutions of higher learning are encouraging use of bicycles, McGill is one of the few (perhaps the only one in North America) to ban cycling. All this in the heart of bicycle friendly Montreal.
