Public consultations on recreation activities & transportation in the Gatineau Park
In the coming weeks the NCC will be holding public consultations on its plans for “outdoor recreation activities” and “sustainable transportation” in the Gatineau Park. The outcome of these consultations could affect how cyclists use and access the park. All of this is part of a larger process which stems from a 2005 decision to place a far greater emphasis on pursing ecosystem and conservation objectives for the Gatineau Park.
There are a number of ways which people can participate in the NCC consultation process:
(1) Attend Work Shops on Saturday , January 28, 2012. For more details, see:
