Time to cycle up to the Champlain Lookout. Not quite yet.
Yesterday (March 21) I decided to cycle up to the Champlain Lookout to see how far I could get. The entrance to the park off Alexandre-Tache Boulevard was completely devoid of snow, so I thought that I might be able to go at least to the bottom of Pink Lake Hill. However, I didn’t get as far as Hickory Trail parking lot before I hit a long patch of ice that covered the entire width of the parkway. (See photo below.)
