Gatineau Park clear of snow & ice (& free of cars until May 4th).
I had a chance to go back to the Gatineau Park and cycle up to the Champlain Lookout today (March 25, 2012). It was nice to see that, for the most part, all the parkways were dry and clear of ice and snow. There was a smidgin of snow in a few small spots on the north loop, but there was plenty of bare pavement to go around them.
The parkways will also be clear of motor vehicle traffic until noon, Friday, May 4, 2012.
