Britannia Community Bike Tune-Up - April 29, 1 pm to 4 pm.
A group of people are organizing a “Britannia Community Bike Tune-Up”. It will be taking place on Sunday, April 29, 2012, from 1 pm to 4 pm next to the Ottawa River Pathway just east of the Britannia Park (corner of Britannia Rd. & Howe St.).
Volunteers will clean chains, adjust seats, handlebars, and brakes, fix and refill flats. They will also provide on matters such as finding a safe route to work, fastening a helmet, or locking a bike.
Bring your bike as well as any bells, kickstands, seats, brakes, reflectors, training wheels, or baskets that you've wanted to mount but haven't gotten around to.
Get your bike in gear for the summer. Everyone welcome!
