International Velo-City Conference in Vancouver, June 26-29, 2012.
This year’s Velo-City Global Conference will be taking place in Vancouver June 26-29, 2012. It’s supposed to be the world’s premier international cycling planning conference, and it offers delegates from a variety of countries a chance to share best practices for creating bicycle-friendly cities.
In previous years it has been held in Copenhagen, Paris, Dublin, Brussels, Barcelona, Perth, Munich and Montreal. The Vancouver Conference is expected to attract up to 1500 delegates. If you plan to attend, be prepared to pay a lot. With taxes, registration alone cost $1,288.
