Toronto mayor’s  'war on bikes' starting to get international attention.

Toronto mayor Rob Ford has long been known for his anti-cycling views.  For example, during a 2007 Toronto city budget debate, he said, "Roads are built for buses, cars, and trucks. Not for people on bikes. My heart bleeds when someone gets killed, but it's their own fault at the end of the day."

Since being elected Mayor of Toronto in 2010, Rob Ford has initiated what many have come to regard as a “war on bikes”. Last year Toronto began the process of removing some bike lanes. All this is starting to get some international media attention, including a report yesterday on the BBC News Magazine. Find it at:             http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17914504
