Police to target cyclists running stop signs & red lights.
Ottawa Police will conduct a bicycle safety blitz between June 13 and 17 and will be cracking down on cyclists who run stop signs and red lights. They will also be on the lookout for people riding on sidewalks and cycling the wrong way on one-way streets. In addition, people can be fined if their bikes are not equipped with a bell and the necessary lights/reflectors when riding at night.
