City council approves O'Connor Street segregated bike lane

Ottawa city council approved the building of a segregated bicycle lane on O'Connor Street yesterday (June 10).

It will run from the Glebe to downtown Ottawa, and it will provide a north-south route for cyclists who want to get downtown on a segregated bike lane. Construction of the first phase of the project will begin next year.
